Newcastle Clinical Psychologist
Ms Zoe Guider, MAPS
Working from Oracle Psychology's Newcastle clinic, Zoe Guider is a registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She holds a Masters in Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours). Zoe is also a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS). She has Endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA).
Zoe has a special interest in working with children and adolescents struggling with depression and anxiety and in promoting mental wellbeing across all age groups. She has experience working with children, adolescents and their families in the Queensland Health Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS), and also has experience working in public Adult Mental Health in extended inpatient and acute psychiatric settings.
Zoe engages in clinical, academic and neuropsychological assessment of both children and adults. She utilises a range of evidence-based interventions, including Eye-Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness. She has experience in the Circle of Security parenting program, the Together in Mind group for mothers experiencing mental health difficulties, and the Westmead Feelings Program for promoting emotional understanding and social awareness for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Zoe has also completed training in Theraplay.
