Newcastle Behaviour Support Practitioner
Ms Lauren Saunders
Lauren is currently in the final stages of her Bachelor of Psychological Science from the University of Newcastle. She is a current member of Behaviour Support Practitioners Australia (BSPA). Lauren is planning to complete further studies in the next few years to work towards registering as a psychologist.
Lauren has been working in the industry for the past two years. Throughout professional development and her studies, she has gained an understanding for working with children, young people, families and people from diverse backgrounds. Lauren has an interest in working with clients with a range of presentations including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety and mood disorders as well as Intellectual Disabilities.
Lauren supports a collaborative approach for creating and implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans (BSP). She is passionate about supporting children and families to achieve their goals through therapeutic intervention in a comfortable and safe space.
