Ms Kerri Corkill, MAPS
Kerri Corkill is a Clinical Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a member with the Australian Psychological Society (APS). She received a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) and a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from Central Queensland University. During her time at University she was inducted into the Golden Key International Society for Academic Excellence. Kerri completed further study at the University of Southern Queensland and attained a Masters in Clinical Psychology.
Kerri has experience working as a Psychologist across the lifespan providing evidence based practice therapy in various setting such as Private Practice, Government Funded Youth Service, Private Hospital, Employment and Rehabilitation Services. She has experience treating a range of mental health disorders and presenting issues such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, impulsive and conduct disorders, substance and addictive disorders, bereavement, relationship and behaviour difficulties, Gender Dysphoria and Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).
Kerri has expertise in a range of different treatment modalities including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Solution-Based Therapy and Schema Therapy.
Kerri is passionate about working with children, adolescents and young adults as she believes early intervention is fundamental so that individuals can achieve their full potential.
