Child & Adolescent Depression

Depression is a condition which affects many individuals throughout the course of their lifetime. Children and teenagers with Depression may withdraw from their family and friends, feel a strong sense of hopeless, experience difficulties sleeping and feel intense sadness. Some individuals may engage in self-harm or suicidal thinking.

Treatment by an experienced Child and Adolescent Psychologist can be an important step in assisting these individuals. A Psychologist can help families and loved ones to understand the nature of the condition better. They can also work with the individual to teach them skills to improve their condition and experience more positive feelings.

We understand that experiencing mental health conditions is difficult for individuals and their loved ones. At Oracle Psychology we take care to approach your concerns sensitively and professionally. We work closely and collaboratively to make gains and provide support.

Treating mental health difficulties such as Depression early on can lead to more beneficial outcomes for the individual and family as a whole. If you have concerns in relation to child and adolescent Depression contact our team today to seek help.
