Our current average wait period is generally between 0-6 weeks depending on the presenting concerns and client availability. More complex presentations and circumstances may take longer to allocate to an appropriately experienced clinician.

Therapy Sessions:Therapy or treatment sessions entail working with a Consulting Psychologist to address previously identified concerns. This usually includes working directly with the client on their difficulties in session and developing strategies to be used outside of the consulting rooms.
The time required to complete a block of therapy will vary depending on the client's individual needs and presenting issues. The Psychologist will work with the client over time to get to know the person's concerns, explore their unique circumstances and develop plans as well as skills to address needs. |
Assessment Sessions:
Assessment sessions are used to identify underlying difficulties, make diagnoses, clarify functioning and/or formalise findings. Assessments usually comprise 3-4 sessions and include a comprehensive psychological report.
Reports include detailed information and recommendations which can be used to assist the client. In most cases the report will be available 4-6 weeks after the assessment is completed and all collateral information has been returned (e.g., questionnaires). |
External Third-Party Referral Form:
All Third-Party External Referrers (e.g., referrals from schools, NGO's, DCJ, NSW Health, etc.) will need to complete this form. After the form has been completed, admin will follow-up for processing.
