Mr. Matt Hall

Child & Adolescent Psychologist


Matt Hall is a Psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). He holds a Bachelor of Psychology (BPsyc) from Victoria University (New Zealand), as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychological Practice (PGDipPsychPrac) and Master’s Degree in Psychology with Honours (MPsych) from Massey University.


Matt has previous experience working with adolescents, families and adults, providing a compassionate evidence-based and person-centred approach to therapy. Matt’s main therapeutic modality is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which he interweaves with genuineness and warmth while tailoring this to clients’ specific needs.


Matt is motivated and passionate about ensuring clients feel well supported in their journey. He believes that genuineness, trust and commitment are integral components of meaningful therapy. His approach facilitates a space for clients to feel safe and take intentional strides toward their personal and therapeutic goals.


He has previously worked with adolescents and adults experiencing low mood, depression and anxiety. He has assisted clients with anger management, emotion regulation and disordered eating. He is passionate about empowering self-compassion, meaning and positive future direction.


Having conducted research investigating the psychology of modern marketing tactics, consumers and legislation, Matt is well informed about the challenging and evolving world of today.
