Clinical Psychology Registrar


Emily is a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Emily obtained her Master of Clinical Psychology from Western Sydney University, her Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) and Graduate Diploma of Psychological Science from the Australian College of Applied Psychology, and her Bachelor of Psychological Science from the University of Adelaide. Currently, she is completing the Clinical Psychology Registrar Program to obtain endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA).

 

Emily is experienced in providing psychological interventions and psychometric assessment across the lifespan. She enjoys supporting individuals to utilise their strengths and build skills to navigate challenges such as anxiety and mood disorders, adjustment to significant life changes, stress, relationship challenges, occupational challenges, and chronic pain. She has a particular interest and experience in supporting neurodiverse individuals. She has previously worked across various settings such as private practice, school, public and private hospitals, providing individual and group therapy.

 

Emily’s approach emphasises respect, warmth and inclusivity. She enjoys supporting individuals to learn, grow, and work towards their goals. She utilises a range of evidence-based interventions, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
