Behaviour Support Practitioner
Madi received her Bachelor of Psychological Science and Criminology from the Australian College of Applied Psychology and her Advanced Graduate Diploma in Psychology from the University of Technology Sydney. She is currently completing her Master of Psychological Science at the University of Newcastle.
Throughout Madi's studies and professional experience, she has developed strong skills in supporting individuals who present with complex behaviours, consistently approaching her work with warmth, empathy, and a genuine respect for each person’s unique experiences and strengths. She values evidence-based practice and is committed to ongoing professional development to ensure the highest quality of support.
Madi has a particular interest in working with children, adolescents, and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Intellectual Disabilities and mood disorders. She is passionate about adopting a highly collaborative approach, working closely with families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualised Positive Behaviour Support Plans (BSP).
Madi places strong emphasis on clear, open communication and building trusting relationships. She works alongside individuals and families to achieve meaningful goals and enhance overall wellbeing through compassionate, person-centred support.
