Ms. Alesha Lannoy

Behaviour Support Practitioner


Alesha received a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours Class I) from the University of Newcastle and is currently completing a Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Newcastle. She is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS) and Behaviour Support Practitioners Australia (BSPA).


Alesha adopts a trauma-informed and person-centred approach, recognising that every individual’s experiences, strengths, and support needs are unique. She is passionate about delivering tailored, evidence-informed strategies that promote meaningful outcomes for both individuals and their support networks.


Throughout her professional experience, Alesha has worked with children, adolescents, and adults across a range of settings and presentations, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), intellectual disabilities, mental health concerns, mood disorders, trauma presentations, and young people in out-of-home care. She has developed skills in supporting individuals presenting with complex behaviours while maintaining a strong focus on rapport-building, collaboration, and compassionate care.


Alesha is passionate about empowering the individuals and families she works with to build skills, increase independence, and work towards goals that are meaningful to them.
